In naming the business, we wanted to capture that special feeling the founders had when they met – two kindred spirits who felt like they’d known one another forever. It’s the same feeling we want to inspire with every new client. Family seemed like a natural step, and Cousin is just the right level of familiar connection.

The horizon line

Throughout our brand and comms you’ll see this line, both subtle and overt. It represents us as an emerging company, an emerging idea and as emerging people. It also reflects our fundamental building blocks - we can’t create without the foundations of strategy, thought and reason behind us.

We needed a palette that could grow with our business. Black and white really isn’t us so we went bold and diverse, with interesting colour combinations breathing life into expression.

Creativity within boundaries

You rarely have no restrictions within commercial design, so we’ve made it our mission to deliver and champion the most creative solutions within the parameters of the project. In our experience this makes for a meaningful, viable and always useful brand. Our brand film, A Moment in Time, is a direct expression of our ethos in practice.
