Balance Interior Design is a perfect marriage between form and function.
We worked with founder, Gemma Tucker, to create a brand that not only showcased her incredible talent, but revealed interior design to be much more than beautiful wall coverings and seasonal trends.

Brand idea & design ethos
With a design style that occupies the sweet spot between aesthetic and function, period and modern, symmetry and offset, Gemma believes good interior design elegantly complements style with purpose. Using this ethos as a starting point, the brand mirrors two styles sitting in perfect harmony.
A sophisticated palette
Gemma asked for a palette that felt a more androgynous than some of the ultra-feminine stereotypes linked to a female interior designer. Our response was to create warm, earthy tones held together by a dark blue. Still neutral, but not in any way obvious.
A fitting home for the portfolio
Being a designer, it was critical that we gave Gemma a timeless, professional website that showcased her work beautifully. It was also very important that the CMS be straightforward, quick and easy to update, so we opted for a templated site customised just for Gemma.
Refining the marque
The look and feel of Balance had been in Gemma's mind for a long time - it was a true labour of love. In response, we worked closely to refine her identity, considering many iterations along the way.
Measuring success
We delivered a brand that Gemma could take to market immediately. Allowing her to secure professional partnerships, affiliations and accreditations, the new identity took Balance to the next level. We look forward to seeing the brand featured on developers' hoardings across London soon.
