At the start of 2020, we were approached to create the brand for a new type of Law Firm. In a slow-moving industry, a Barrister well-known for his work in serious injury case litigation, saw an opportunity to give his clients an edge by leveraging a change in legislation that now allows Barristers to own their own firms and lead the client relationship. Case was born.

Specialist & niche

Having a sole focus on serious personal injury cases, we needed to position Case as experts in their field – with the relationships, connections and experience needed to give clients the very best service. The goal was to create a human brand, completely client centric, that broke with tradition and exuded a subtle quiet confidence.

Human & client-centric

If you incur a serious personal injury, it is complicated. You need an advocate who can translate and guide you through the complex proceedings that will take place. You want an expert who can translate what’s going on and give you the peace of mind that you’ll get the result you deserve. As brand, the task was to make the complex, simple. This led to the tagline – Serious Injury, Simplified.

Modern & unconventional

As a firm born from thinking outside the normal confines of the sector, borrowing practices from other industries - tech, medical, scientific, research and publishing. The brand needed to reflect this, whilst not alienating peers and fellow experts.

A brand relevant to everyone

Experience of a serious personal injury should be rare, but it can happen to anyone. We designed the identity to be accessible and human, as well as expert and trusted. The result is clean, uncluttered, respectful and positive.

Case was set up to lead the way and define how serious personal injury cases should be handled. To stand out in a sea of sameness, it had to be intentional about message and cut to the chase.

We set out to bypass all category norms of small claims personal injury firm; instead adopting elegant and accessible design cues and an assertive and considered tone of voice.

Measuring success

The Barrister who founded Case has big plans. As an expert in his field, we have no doubt that he will succeed, with Case becoming one of the leading boutique serious injury law firms in the UK.
