Decision Time, empowering organisations to transform smart strategy into positive action.
Decision Time is a fast-growing, multi-award-winning tech company that helps organisations practice good governance, manage risk and achieve strategic objectives. The leadership team enlisted Cousin to help them articulate all the benefits of their smart software by revisiting the building blocks of their brand strategy, identity and messaging.

Out of complexity, find simplicity
Having explored the dynamic culture within Decision Time, we were able to pin down the values, behaviours and beliefs that make the company so unique. We developed a new message structure to reflect their commitment to giving organisations the clarity and the confidence to make informed decisions and take action – a sentiment we neatly summed up in their new tagline, “See. Know. Do.”
The evolution of governance
Decision Time exists to help boards, particularly in the Covid-19 era and beyond, to assess their readiness to meet new challenges and develop a plan to identify and address any gaps. The software is more relevant than ever, so our challenge was to develop a website that successfully balanced the high-level aspirations of the board with the practical and useful tools that exist within Decision Time.
Visual clarity
Visually, the rebrand embodies Decision Time’s simplicity and ease of use. The extended visual language introduces a more refined colour palette that mirrors their values and personality. We also introduced a clearer, more intuitive way for potential customers to explore the features and benefits of the software by taking a fresh approach to iconography, product hierarchy and nomenclature..
Finding a solution with photography
Holding a photoshoot during a pandemic just wasn’t an option, so we dedicated our time to sourcing a suite of ideal stock images, which we then retouched to showcase the Decision Time product. Showing the product in use was key to the success of the website and comms, because it allowed the client to see themselves alongside the product.
Measuring success
We considered carefully just how much Decision Time has grown and what was truly at the heart of the business and the people within it. With a new logo, typography, tone of voice, message, iconography and imagery, everyone in the organisation now feels empowered and excited to tell their brand story at every touchpoint. We can’t wait to see the Decision Time brand unfold, and the business continue to grow with renewed energy and clarity.
