The brand idea

The key to striking primal balance is to find equilibrium between the four pillars of health and wellbeing. The brand’s essence is to show how creating a harmonious balance will allow you to thrive.

The logo marque

The order in which you tackle the four pillars is absolutely critical to success. Recovery is often the most overlooked part of wellness, but it is in fact the foundation. It therefore forms the nucleus of the brand marque, with the additional elements forming around it. The marque can also be deconstructed, providing a sharable infographic to inform and establish credibility.

Two brands, intrinsically connected

So that Founder Adam could share his personal views on one (Inquisitive Beast), and his more professional and grounded notions on the other (Primal Balance), we created one brand with two personas. Keen to ensure the identities remained connected but separate, we applied the same colour palette and typography, but used them in different ways.

Wordpress Website

Being an online business, the development of the site was vital to the success. We developed the site map, website copy and brand assets needed to tell the story of Primal Balance, working with a Wordpress expert to build the site.

Graphic Language

We designed a suite of visual language for Adam to signpost his content. It points to the appropriate pillar, accents daily wisdom and gives his posts a recognisable identity whenever they’re shared.

Measuring success

The identities for both Primal Balance and Inquisitive Beast have given founder Adam a real boost in focus. Seeing his vision come to life in a tangible way has unlocked more possibilities than he could've imagined. As his client list grows, so does his confidence in upscaling this brilliant business. We can't wait to watch it fly.
